Full course description
This 2.5-day workshop (July 27-29, 2021) is for dual language teachers and administrators. We have invited three speakers who are experts in bilingual and dual language education. Dr. Eric Johnson will cover Spanish language and linguistics, Dr. Gilberto Lara will focus on teaching biliteracy, and Dr. Idalia Nuñez will present on the topic of linguistic and cultural diversity in bilingual education. Team planning and collaboration sessions will also be scheduled to encourage communication and collaboration among dual language educators working in different parts of Iowa.
